Position Overview
We are currently seeking a highly experienced Level III Business Systems Analyst to join our team. In this senior-level role, you will independently apply advanced technical and analytical expertise to deliver complex business solutions for high-profile clients. You will also provide strategic direction to project teams and interact directly with senior leadership within Financial Management & Comptroller (FM&C) organizations and government clients at the Branch and Division Head level.
This role is ideal for a seasoned business systems analyst with deep knowledge of ERP systems, audit readiness, IT compliance frameworks, and a track record of leading technical teams within large-scale organizations or government agencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead business systems analysis efforts for complex modernization, migration, and ERP implementation initiatives.
- Interact with government clients and senior stakeholders to define and refine business and technical requirements.
- Provide technical guidance to project teams and ensure quality of deliverables.
- Oversee or support activities related to IT audit readiness, IT system audits, and system control documentation.
- Implement and maintain FISCAM and Risk Management Framework (RMF) controls across financial systems.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications and oversee the implementation of solutions in environments such as SAP, Oracle Federal Financials, or similar platforms.
- Mentor junior analysts and ensure alignment with project and client objectives.
Education & Certification Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field from an accredited institution.
- An additional two (2) years of relevant experience may substitute for the education requirement.
- Professional Certification Required: CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) or comparable IT professional certification (e.g., CGEIT, CRISC, CISSP).
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of six (6) years of progressive, relevant experience in business systems analysis.
- Demonstrated expertise in at least two of the following:
- Systems consolidation or migration
- ERP implementation (SAP, Oracle Federal Financials, etc.)
- IT system audit readiness or reviews
- FISCAM or RMF implementation and sustainment
- Proven ability to lead project teams and engage directly with senior government stakeholders.
- Strong communication, leadership, and technical documentation skills.
- Experience working with Federal or State Government agencies or large enterprises (1,000+ employees).
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with federal financial systems, policy compliance, and financial audit processes.
- Prior experience supporting Financial Management & Comptroller (FM&C) organizations.
- Working knowledge of DoD or other federal financial management structures.
