Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Level II Data Analyst to support data-driven solutions for our clients in the public and private sectors. This role is ideal for professionals with a background in data analytics, IT development, or database management, especially those with experience in large-scale or government environments.
You will work independently or in small teams to support the full data lifecycle—from requirements gathering and technical documentation to developing visualizations, cleansing data, and delivering actionable insights. Your contributions will directly support business decision-making, system modernization efforts, and digital transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply technical expertise in data analytics and/or IT systems development to support mission-critical business solutions.
- Develop and maintain data visualizations, dashboards, and analytics reports using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Excel.
- Support data management efforts, including data cleansing, integration, transformation, and quality assurance.
- Participate in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) activities, such as documenting business requirements, assisting with design, testing, and deployment.
- Assist with technical documentation and change management processes for analytics or development projects.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver high-quality, data-informed outcomes.
Education & Certification Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited U.S. college or university in a field relevant to data analytics, computer science, information systems, engineering, mathematics, business, or another related discipline.
Required Qualifications
- Three (3) years of progressive, relevant experience in data analytics, IT development, or database management.
- Hands-on experience supporting Federal or State Government agencies or large organizations (1,000+ employees).
- Proven ability to create compelling, accurate data visualizations and reports.
- Familiarity with technical documentation, requirements gathering, or supporting system implementations.
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, or similar.
- Understanding of data governance, data modeling, or ETL processes.
- Familiarity with Agile or DevOps methodologies.
- Knowledge of data privacy and security practices in government environments.
