Position Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Level III Data Analyst to lead and deliver advanced data solutions supporting government and large enterprise clients. This role requires deep technical expertise in data analytics and IT development, along with the ability to provide leadership and direction to project teams.
As a Level III Data Analyst, you will independently apply your expertise to complex business challenges, lead small teams, and engage directly with FM&C and government clients at the Branch and Division Head level to ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently design, develop, and implement advanced data analytics and IT solutions supporting client business objectives.
- Lead and mentor project teams, providing technical guidance and ensuring quality deliverables.
- Support full lifecycle activities including SDLC: technical documentation, requirements gathering, design, testing, change management, and deployment.
- Create and maintain databases, data cleansing scripts, visualizations, and analytics reports that support data-driven decision-making.
- Engage with senior government clients to communicate findings, recommend solutions, and align analytics efforts with strategic goals.
- Ensure adherence to applicable standards, regulations, and client requirements throughout project execution.
Education & Certification Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited U.S. college or university in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or Business Analytics.
Required Qualifications
- Six (6) years of progressive, relevant experience in data analytics, IT development, or database management.
- Proven experience working with Federal or State Government agencies or large organizations (1,000+ employees).
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams and interact effectively with senior stakeholders.
- Strong skills in data visualization, data cleansing, analytics reporting, and technical documentation.
- Experience supporting complex systems development lifecycle (SDLC) activities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency with data analytics and visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or Python.
- Familiarity with data governance, ETL processes, and Agile methodologies.
- Experience with federal financial management or other government-specific systems a plus.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with experience presenting to executive-level audiences.
