Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Level III Strategic Communications / Change Management Specialist to join our team supporting federal clients in driving enterprise-wide transformation. In this role, you will independently apply advanced expertise in strategic communications, change management, human capital development, and workforce training to implement solutions that enhance mission performance.
You will lead project teams and serve as a key advisor to senior stakeholders, including FM&C and other government clients at the Branch and Division Head levels. This is a senior-level role ideal for professionals with a track record of delivering results in complex, high-impact environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead strategic communications and change management initiatives to support business transformation and modernization.
- Design and execute communication strategies to engage stakeholders, build awareness, and foster adoption of change.
- Support organizational development, including human capital planning, workforce training, and process improvement.
- Conduct stakeholder analyses, readiness assessments, and change impact analyses.
- Develop high-quality deliverables such as communication plans, messaging toolkits, training materials, leadership talking points, and reports.
- Provide guidance to project teams and coordinate efforts across functional workstreams.
- Engage regularly with senior government clients to present findings, provide recommendations, and align strategies with organizational objectives.
Education & Certification Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited U.S. college or university in a relevant field such as Communications, Business, Public Administration, Organizational Development, Human Resources, or a related discipline.
Required Qualifications
- Six (6) years of progressive, relevant experience in strategic communications, change management, organizational development, or human capital consulting.
- Demonstrated success supporting Federal or State Government agencies or large organizations (1,000+ employees).
- Proven experience leading communication efforts tied to organizational change, technology implementations, or process transformation.
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, and writing skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a client-facing environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with change management frameworks such as ADKAR, Prosci, or Kotter’s 8-Step Process.
- Experience working within DoD FM&C or civilian agency environments.
- Understanding of federal workforce transformation, training strategy, or policy communications.
