Position Overview
We are actively seeking a highly experienced Level IV Financial Analyst to lead and manage financial management engagements for our federal clients. This senior-level position involves performing independent quality assurance reviews, leading complex workstreams, and serving as a subject matter expert in federal financial management and accounting.
As a key point of contact, you will engage with senior FM&C and government stakeholders at the Division Head level and above, ensuring that deliverables meet all applicable standards, regulations, and contractual obligations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct independent quality assurance reviews of program performance and deliverables.
- Provide on-site quality control, including review and approval of working papers, audit findings, and process documentation.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SFFAS, OMB policies, and other federal accounting and internal control standards.
- Lead and mentor teams delivering financial management and audit support services.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to high-level government clients on financial operations and improvements.
- Drive audit response, remediation, and internal control initiatives for complex organizations or agencies.
Education & Certification Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Management, Finance, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Required Certification (at least one of the following):
- CPA (Certified Public Accountant)
- CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor)
- CIA (Certified Internal Auditor)
- CGFM (Certified Government Financial Manager)
- CDFM (Certified Defense Financial Manager)
Required Qualifications
- Nine (9) years of progressive, relevant experience in financial analysis, accounting, or audit, including:
- Six (6) years of experience leading financial management services or related projects.
- Proven experience working with Federal or State Government agencies or large enterprises (1,000+ employees).
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- In-depth understanding of federal financial systems and reporting requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with DoD FM&C or federal civilian financial policies.
- Experience supporting enterprise-level audit readiness and financial transformation efforts.
